Oneida High School students visited SDI as part of the POSOH project and learned about animal adaptation, the forest, and many other place-based concepts.
In the pictures below, you can see student creations of plants and animals. One of the student demonstration stations focused on learning about adaptations, or characteristics that change or adapt to situations or surroundings. Each student made their own creatures and explained how their "being" adapts to the surroundings. They all had great imaginations explaining defense mechanisms, reproductive traits, camouflage, and many more characteristics. Check out pictures below!
